After years of extensive training and working as a filed technician, Carter accepted a position in 1963, as shop foreman, and in 1969 he was promoted to Service Manager in Eugene, Oreogn. Due to his hard work and commitment, Pape' soon offered him another opportunity for advancement. So in 1985, he took the position of New Products Engineer and managed Papé's Technical Center. Today, Carter manages Pape's Equipment Failure Analysis program, training technicians to ensure customers receive the most reliable analytical support backed by the latest advances in equipment maintenance technology. He was invited by John Deere to participate in the Deere Dealer Advocate Groups (DAG).
