Family Day at the Oregon Logging Conference

For more than a decade children have delighted in the fun, educational
exhibits and activities at OLC’s Family Day. All exhibits are free and
open to the public on Family Day.

Special
Exhibit: Talk About Trees
Talk About Trees, sponsored by the Oregon Women in Timber, is a free,
hands-on forest education program that presents science-based curriculum
to kindergarten through eighth grade classes. Talk About Trees teaches
children about:

identification

Photosynthesis

Definition of resources
-
Renewability
-
Structure of trees
-
Conservation
-
Forest management.
