Oregon Logging Conference & Equipment Show Honored by Trade Show Executive Magazine for Setting the Gold Standard
Carlsbad, CA. - The Oregon Logging Conference & Equipment Show was honored by Trade Show Executive magazine as one of the 100 largest shows in 2008 that have set the Gold Standard for the exposition industry. The prestigious award was announced at Trade Show Executive's Gold 100 Awards Gala & Summit at the five-star Ritz-Carlton Resort in Laguna Niguel, CA, September 17 - 19.
The inaugural event provided Gold 100 show organizers and industry executives the opportunity to celebrate the industry and their shows' successes by recognizing the year's largest trade shows in square footage, economic contribution, innoviation and green initiatives.
The Oregon Logging Conference & Equipment Show ranked No. 50 in TSE's Gold 100 Directory. It's 2007 event occupied 390,000 squre feet of exhibit space and hosted 248 exhibiting companies and 6,000 attendees.
The OOregon Logging Conference & Equipment Show's gold ranking places the show in an elite group. There are over 13,000 trade shows in the U.S. each year according to the Center for Exhibition Industry Research (CEIR). TSE found that the top 100 shows collectively drew nearly two million professional attendees and generated more than $2 billion in econimic impact to the 100 host cities.
