Business Seminar – Friday, February 22, 2008
10:45am – 11:45am – repeated at 12:15pm

Equipment Remote Monitoring with GPS

This seminar will be presented by Karen Blythe of Construction Industry Crime Prevention Program and Tom Remy Qualcomm GPS Monitoring Equipment.

Tom will discuss the GlobalTRACS system. GPS-based location information lets you see where equipment is located, and virtual boundary alerts automatically notify you of equipment movement outside pre-set boundaries. Reports enable the customer to view data in a format that best meets their needs, which makes information more useful in less time.

Karen will discuss strategies and techniques loggers and contractors can implement to make their tools and equipment less vulnerable to thieves. Also, if equipment is stolen, how the owner can make it more likely that it will be recovered by police and returned.
